Have you ever jumped on a bus or train and missed your stop because you were sleeping or too busy playing your favorite app? This app will help prevent this from ever happening again. We love coming across a novel app that makes great use of an iDevice’s technology. With this app users can move a pin to a map to alert them when they come within approximately 500 yards of the pin. So, say, you are on the bus and need to get off at the corner of X and Y Streets. Simply drop a pin at the corner of X and Y Streets and your iDevice will vibrate and make a sound (these are customizable settings) when you are nearby to make certain you get off. Cool, right? Of course, for this app to work you are at the mercy of GPS properly functioning and the app has to run in the background which will take a toll on your battery’s charge. Nonetheless, we give big kudos to this app and encourage public transportation commuters to download it.
